Working Title Films Research

Working title are a film production company that was formed in 1983 by Sarah Radclyffe and Tim Bevan but Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are now co-owners of the company. The headquaters for Working Titles is located in London. Working Title have produced films such as Four Weddings and a Funeral and Hot Fuzz.

Universal Studios agreed a deal with Working Title in 1999 that was worth a reported $600 million and that would see Universal own 67% of Working Title and this deal runs through until 2015. The remaining shares are owned by the company's founders, private investers and BBC Films. This deal still gave Bevan and Fellner creative control of Working Title because if a film is going to cost up to £35 million then Bevan and Fellner can say yes or no to the idea. many of Working title's recent films are co-produced by StudioCanal.
