Production Company Logo Analysis

Paramount logo
Used the word "Paramount because because it means superior and better than everything else. It also emphasis that they want to be better than all the other production companies.
It is on top of a mountain to show that they are the best and at the top of the of the production companies
They have stars around the logo to show that they have well known actors and celebrities in their films.

This is the DreamWorks logo. They have used the boy sitting on the moon because it shows that they are important and that they are high up compared to the other production companies. The logo also shows that they produce family,fantasy and children's films. It also shows that they want children to have their own ideas about the films. There is a child sitting on the moon and this also emphasises that the company mainly produce children's films. The child is sitting on the moon and this shows that Dreamworks are always fishing for ideas for new films. The name "Dream works also tells the audience that their films are for families and children

This is the universal logo. it is based in front of a picture of the world because they are made out to be the best production company and it makes them look more powerful than other production companies. 

The logo above is the Pixar logo. It is very simple logo that children will remeber and only uses the colours black, blue and white. Pixar are a production company that produce children's animation films. They have chose to use the colour blue because it relates to the sky and dreams for young children. They have also used serif font that is easy to understand for small children and also they have the flicks on the end of the letters that may hint that most of their films are aimed at young children and families. They have also put the lamp where the I would be and they have made the lamp look at the camera and this makes the audience think that the film is aimed directly at them.

This is the film 4 logo. The only colours that have been used are red and white. This conotes that the films that they produce are quite violent and have a lot of action in them and may not be suitable for younger audiences. This may also connote that their films are targeted at male audiences that like action films. It is a very simple logo in which the 4 is made out of straight lines. This might suggest that their films contain a simple plot that are made with a low budget.
